DIPLOMA IN NURSING
Applicants are invited to apply to the Gauteng College of Nursing to study for the Diploma in Nursing in 2023 at one of the College’s campuses:
• Ann Latsky Campus
• Chris Hani Baragwanath Campus
• Campus SG Lourens
• Bonalesedi Campus.
To successfully apply and be considered for training, please note the following:
• You must register a profile in the system before you can apply.
• You must be a South African citizen,
• Must be in possession of one of the following certificates of completion: a Higher Certificate, a National Higher Certificate, currently in Grade 12, or a National Certificate of Primary Health Vocational Training
• Applications must be made in the GPG Career Center system before or at the
July 31, 2022;
Late applications will not be accepted
• Certified documents will be uploaded into the system, however, you will need to bring supporting documents to the selection center if you are shortlisted.

The following subject criteria are required:
• Senior Certificate: English HG D or SG C, Biology HG D or SG C, Mathematics HG D or SG C and an M score of 17
• Higher National Certificate: English Level 4, Life Sciences Level 4, Mathematics Level 4 or Mathematical Literacy Level 5, and an APS of 27 or higher (Life Orientation counts half of the score)
• National Vocational Certificate: 50% in Core Subjects (English First Additional Language, Mathematics/Mathematical Literacy, Orientation for Life) and 60% in Vocational Subjects (SA Health System, Public Health, Human Mind and Body, and Oriented Primary Care). to the community )
• Current Grade 12 students must meet the Higher National Certificate requirements on their final Grade 11 results.
