Santam is reaching out to qualified individuals to send in their applications to apply for its Learnership Programme intake for 2022. Santam Learnership Programme 2022/2023
As Santam’s entry-level “transformation initiative”, its learnership programme is designed to develop a continuous talent pipeline capable of supporting the business as it achieves its objectives by resolving the skills shortage within the financial services sector. Learners will have an opportunity to apply for an IISA (Insurance Institute of South Africa) professional membership, particularly due to their degree and the FCSA regulatory examinations (RE5).
Who should apply?
In addition to having completed Grade 12, applicants must be able to meet these minimum eligibility criteria to qualify for the learnership role:
- Must have achieved at least a 50% pass mark for English as a Second Language, and 40% minimum pass mark for Mathematics, or 60% for Maths Literacy
- An unemployed South African citizen between 18 to 28 years of age
- Must possess no more than 12 months of work experience
- Not currently part of any short-term Insurance Learnership through INSETA, nor not actively pursuing academic studies while in the learnership
- Persons living with a disability must provide medical notes indicating the nature of illness
- Available to start by 1 February 2023
